Autumn Winter '09 at Fenn Wright Manson takes inspiration from across the globe, from Africa to Peru focusing on key catwalk trends and incorporating traditional best sellers and brand new contemporary pieces. This is one of their strongest collections yet
The ethnic inspired collection Africa consists of traditional prints and beaded embellishments in striking peacock blue and soft pummice. New shapes are mixed with classic styles in linen, silk and wool.
Japan is inspired by the orient, with shades of blackberry, Thai green, and candy. Classic devore is a key feature of this group, along with tailored jackets and slim fitting pencil skirts emphasising the new smart suit look.
Vintage also makes an appearance with the gorgeous beaded silk dress from Versailles in Delicate with a slim retro belt. This collection has some modern contemporary fitted jackets in never seen before shapes.
Casual stylish dressing also gets a nod this season with Boston, Peru, and Texas collections focused on winter knits, jersey materials, and stunning coats and jackets. Boston and Peru have muted colours of Oatmeal, Mink, Peat and New Sorbet, while Texas is eye-catching in bright red, hot pink, and kingfisher blue.
Deauville is classic French chic in black, cream and tweed. Elegant knits are paired with sleek trousers, while winter jackets and coats compliment plain and patterned dresses.
Other key collections this season include Bali - an emphasis on traditional linen, and Mexico - new knit styles, trendy jackets, and dresses make this a definite best-seller.
