Buying wine is an enjoyable experience at Tasting Room.
Rather than just plucking a bottle from a shelf you are able to taste before buying. Your are also invited to compare a range of wines and to discover the people behind the vineyard itself.
Tasting Room was initially based on a simple desire to discover new wines currently not widely available in the UK. It was always their belief that wines should have distinctive personalities . Their aim is to allow you to discover distinctive wines grown by individual winemakers dedicated to the traditions of previous generations, yet willing to try new techniques.
Will Baber the owner of Tasting Room, was pleasantly surprised and gratified to receive an award by the French government wine agency Onivins as UK Independent Wine Retailer for 2005 .
Tasting Room is situated in the bustling heart of historic Larkhall village which with its independent butcher, greengrocer, delicatessen and is not unlike many of the small villages in France, Italy and Spain from where many of the wines are sourced.
