After you walk westwards over Pulteney Bridge the first thing you see is this cornerstone of the Bath art establishment.
This impressive building houses the city's main public art gallery with regular exhibitions and a permanent collection of paintings.

 

The visiting exhibitions are of the highest standard ranging from experimental modern artists to retrospectives of more established names. Well worth an afternoon visit.
